Anambra election: No money, no vote – Onitsha youths
by NAN
At Central School Odoakpu Onitsha, some youths were seen in clusters saying they won’t vote unless they were given money.
One of them said,”We won’t vote for anybody if they don’t give us money. Why should I vote? I have been unemployed for eight years now as a graduate. So, if they don’t give me money I won’t vote for anybody and I’m not alone in this decision. That is the resolve of most youths here.”
Reacting to the development, the member representing the area in the State House of Assembly, Beverly Nkemdiche, who was there to cast her vote condemned the youths’ decision.
She said,”It’s wrong choice of words and approach.”
“Election is a civic duty of every citizen. Why should somebody asked for money to exercise their civic duty?
“I don’t buy to that, and I have no money to give to anybody.”
Meanwhile, Senator Joy Emordi had commended the peace that trailed the poll.
The Senator said she was impressed, stating that she had thought otherwise because of the speculation of eminent violence before the poll.

Our correspondent, who disguised as a voter, was approached by party agents with N1,000 and a pair of rubber slippers to vote for his party. The offer was politely rejected.

Atiku should tell us what happened to the N7.5b failed Chochi Dam project, for which he brought the contractor & supervised the project. 4. What happened to the Jada Federal Government communication project awarded by Obasanjo under his supervision which N4.5b went into a failed project? *Abuse of Office*  5. Atiku boasted that he was smart enough to set up Intels whilst he was a Customs Officer. Intels handles customs logistics and container services within the same Ports. Learn to ignore and overlook many things if you truly want happiness in life

Learn to ignore and overlook many things if you truly want happiness in life  because the easiest way to a miserable life is to think that everybody is talking about you. Never allow anyone to steal your joy from you. What people say behind your back is none of your business as long as you are true to yourself. Never worry yourself about that. Sometimes minding your own business does not keep people out of your business. No matter your situation in life people will always talk. You can never stop people from talking about you, what you can do is to stop giving them what to talk about. There is a time limit for every rumour in life. Never allow freelance broadcasters to put your life on hold. Do what makes you happy. Anyone who cannot feel your pain, has no right to judge you in life. Seventy percent of those who talk bad about you behind your back, wish to be like you. When people can't be like you they try to bring you down and condemn what you have. Those without mo...
